Located in Central Indiana, Journey Newfoundlands was born in the mid-1980’s when we, Virginia and Kelly Davis, adopted 2-year old Ammy. Since that time, we’ve never looked back!!! Our Newfoundlands are a part of our home and our lives in every way. We are active members of our regional club, South Central Newfoundland Club, associate members of nearby North Central Newfoundland Club, and are long time members of the national club, the Newfoundland Club of America. We are also listed on the Newfoundland Club of America's Breeders List. We are very active in Newfoundland Rescue; Virginia is one of the Co-Chairs of South Central Newfoundland Rescue. Virginia manages a veterinary clinic in Westfield, IN and actively shows our Newfs. Kelly is a master woodworker and a talented amateur photographer. We breed occasionally and selectively. Our criteria, first and foremost, are to breed for the health, temperament and beauty of the breed. We adhere to the breed standard. All of our pups are raised in our home as part of our family. They are well socialized before they go to their new families and homes. Because we feel so strongly that a Newfoundland should be a valued member of the family, we screen selectively for homes that will treasure them as the loving companions they are.
